Wreath Laying Ceremony:

Troopers, This is an initial ping for a heads-up to our scheduled Wreath Laying Ceremony. Please, get the word out to fellow Troopers and Chapters!

The Greater Washington DC Chapter is coordinating a Wreath Laying @ Arlington National Cemetery and it will take place on 2/16/2008 @ 09:15 am.

We got confirmation from Arlington National Cemetery late last week.

We would like for this event to be made available for participation by all National Association Troopers, at no cost to the Association.

As such, we would like to get this out to all Chapter Presidents so that they can alert their Troopers – more details to follow.

We are looking at a couple of hotel and cemetery round trip transportation options. So far, the costs above individual travel fees are targeted:

Lodging @ $115 per night

Transit and Lunch on the day of the Wreath Laying @ $35 per Trooper or Guest

Average of $30 per day for food

We are also working to host an entertainment venue the evening of the wreath laying. This is a work in progress and more detail will be provided.

This is our event and we ask that you help us to help us by simply preparing to come out and share the event!
